Are you inspired in your day to day life?
I went through a period of time when I felt weighed down by what made up my daily existence. It was a weight that felt hard to get out from under. During that time, I clung hard to my meditation and yoga practice. I know that’s what helped me get through that really difficult time. It inspired me to look beyond myself so that I could discover what brought me the most fulfillment. What brings me the most fulfillment is helping other women.
Right now, I am very INSPIRED as I travel down this path of helping others. I am working to get my certificate in Social Emotional Arts so that I may provide my clients with even more tools to help them heal from trauma. The Social Emotional Arts bring together the arts, such as theatre, dance and movement, art, poetry and writing, and music, and uses them to help heal.
Theatre and movement have been my long time passions, and I am delighted to merge these loves, along with other artistic practices, together in my work. I already use movement to facilitate healing in my trauma informed yoga practice. I am looking forward to broadening my offerings once I complete my training in Social Emotional Arts. Stay tuned!
